This long-distance couple, romantically, had the dreamiest of proposals; taking place in a resto posited just a stone's throw away from heaven - an ethereal hideout far from the hustle and bustle of the city. John Ray, an IT expert, decided to take her beau, Iris, an audiologist based in Singapore, for a moment she would never forget in a place where clouds float around in the sky like suds in a pan and a hanging veranda welcoming the cool mountain breeze. Arrestingly, this engagement shoot has been something cozy and poetic for this lovely couple snapped their most intimate photographs naturally making this magical moment all the more surreal.
 

What I like most about working with John Ray and Iris is their bubbliness and jauntiness during the shoot. Despite the unpredictability of the weather, we managed to smoothly have the shoot without getting anxious about the weather and I think the images we had were truly beyond meaningful. The vibrancy in their faces light up the cloudy skies which mesmerizingly create that glow and light during this beautiful prelude to their lifetime togetherness. What makes it even delightful is that the opulent chateau lends itself so beautifully to this romantic. Though I have just been the third wheel in this prenup shoot, I am more than glad to have captured the ultimate memoir of this amiable couple. John Ray could be smart and techy but in terms of knowing if the heart beats for love, Iris sure outsmarts him.
